3G’s Sweets, Treats & More

A New Orleans Story. A Houston Opportunity. A Family Legacy.

3G’s Sweets, Treats & More is being built on a very simple idea:

Sometimes the biggest companies begin with something very small made extraordinarily well.

For us, it begins with a praline.

3G’s is a founder-led sweets and dessert company inspired by New Orleans, being built in Houston by a working father of three daughters who believes that what he creates with his hands today can become something his children inherit tomorrow.

The “3G’s” are bigger than a name.

They are the reason for the company.

This is a father taking a gift for making sweets, a love for New Orleans flavor and a desire to build something lasting and turning those ingredients into an enterprise his daughters can one day be proud to call theirs.

And Houston may be exactly the right city in which to build it.

The Houston metropolitan area now has approximately 7.9 million residents and added more people between 2024 and 2025 than any other metropolitan area in America. Houston is young, diverse, entrepreneurial, food-obsessed and culturally connected to Louisiana in a way few major American cities are.

That connection matters.

After Hurricane Katrina, roughly 150,000 Louisiana evacuees came into the Houston region. Over the following decades, New Orleans culture became even more deeply woven into Houston—from its food and music to crawfish, daiquiris, festivals and family traditions.

So 3G’s isn’t trying to convince Houston to love New Orleans.

Houston already does.

We intend to build the brand that packages that love into something people can eat, gift, share, ship and experience.

Our first focus will be two of New Orleans’ most recognizable sweets: pralines and beignets.

The praline gives us a highly giftable product with strong perceived value, multiple flavor possibilities and the ability to sell through stores, online commerce, events, hotels, corporate gifting and eventually wholesale retail.

The beignet gives us something entirely different: experience.

It is hot.

It is fresh.

It smells incredible.

It photographs beautifully.

It can be filled, topped and reinvented.

And because it is best enjoyed immediately, it gives customers a reason to come see us again and again.

This combination gives 3G’s both a product business and an experience business.

History tells us how powerful that can become.

Insomnia Cookies began in a college dorm room in 2003 with one basic product—warm cookies—and one powerful consumer insight: people wanted those cookies delivered late at night.

The company did not invent cookies.

It built an occasion around them.

By 2025, Insomnia had surpassed 350 locations globally. A 2024 transaction valued the company at approximately $350 million.

That story demonstrates something important to us:

A dessert doesn’t have to be complicated to build an extraordinary company around it.

It has to be delicious, consistent, differentiated, emotionally relevant and easy to buy.

3G’s intends to apply that lesson to New Orleans sweets.

Our ambition is not simply to become another neighborhood bakery.

Our ambition is to create a Houston-born New Orleans dessert powerhouse.

We envision classic handmade pralines alongside proprietary flavors such as Bananas Foster, Café au Lait, Salted Caramel Pecan, Chocolate, Sweet Potato Pie and seasonal collections.

We see traditional hot beignets alongside signature praline-filled beignets, fruit-and-cream varieties, holiday drops and limited-edition collaborations.

Then comes cookies.

Brownies.

Banana pudding.

Cheesecake.

Celebration cakes.

Ice cream.

Coffee.

Dessert catering.

Corporate gifting.

Nationwide shipping.

Retail products.

And eventually, strategically placed 3G’s dessert shops.

The company can grow without losing its soul because everything comes back to the same three things:

New Orleans. Family. Sweetness.

Even the history of the praline fits this mission.

For generations, praline selling in New Orleans was connected to entrepreneurship. Historical scholarship documents Black women selling pralines and other foods on the streets of New Orleans and using food commerce as a means of economic independence.

More than a century later, 3G’s has the opportunity to carry forward the best part of that tradition:

Take something beautiful that you know how to make.

Make it extraordinarily well.

Put it into the hands of the community.

Build commerce around it.

And turn the work of one generation into opportunity for the next.

That is 3G’s.

We are beginning with pralines.

We are beginning with beignets.

But we are not building a praline company.

And we are not building a beignet stand.

We are building a dessert brand.

A brand born from a father.

Named for his three girls.

Rooted in New Orleans.

Built in Houston.

And designed to become much bigger than any one treat.

3G’s Sweets, Treats & More.

Three Girls. One Father. Generations of Sweet Possibilities.
